Promising Futures 2010 Results

Approximately 500 people attended our 6^th annual Promising Futures breakfast. Terra youth leadership ambassadors greeted guests and were an important focus of the morning program. Ambassadors and Braemar students, Sam Wipf and Amanda Boser shared their personal stories with the audience. Rob Berg from K-97 was our awesome emcee.

More than $175,000.00 in sponsorships, donations/pledges over the next five years was received. Also, 11 individuals joined as new Promising Futures club members. Members of Promising Futures commit to a minimum $1,000.00 a year pledge for five years.

The sixth annual Terra Promising Futures fundraising breakfast is Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m. at the Westin Edmonton hotel. This free event is an opportunity to learn about Terra programs/services and support teen parents through a monetary pledge or one time donation. Client keynote speakers share their personal stories about the challenges and success they encounter as young parents. Terra youth leadership ambassadors greet guests and are an important focus of the event.
