Thank You Baby Heroes!
The Baby Heroes campaign came to a close on October 26, 2009, and is considered a success. As such, we want to thank everyone who helped to make this campaign what it was. From the volunteers, to partnering business organizations to everyone who contributed by dropping off a box of diapers, you are all considered Baby Heroes in the eyes of Terra - Centre for pregnant and parenting teens.
Combining all of our efforts, we managed to raise a total of 84,328 diapers or 1124 boxes. Monetary donations exceeded $5000 and these will go a long way in providing aid to many young families in Edmonton.
Terra's efforts over the past 38 years have been recognized and the level of awareness the Baby Heroes campaign has generated in the community is extremely rewarding!
We may not have collected the 5000 boxes of diapers originally hoped for, but we've connected with new friends and old, made partnerships we hope will last a lifetime and look forward to doing it again next year.
Thank you again for your support and we look forward to seeing you again in 2010.
